Skincare Secrets In your 20’s

In your 20s  is the most crucial time of your skin’s life. This is the time that is going to determine what you look like in your 40’s and beyond.  Here are my top skincare secrets for your 20s.

  1. Sunscreen – This is going to be one of the best things you can do for preventative measures. UVA + UVB rays emitted for the sun are what is going to cause texture, brown spots, melasma, hyper pigmentation, fine lines, and wrinkles. PROTECT YOUR SKIN NOW! Every morning, whether the sun is out or not, wear your sunscreen. Even on your neck and chest!!!! Your future self will thank you for it.
  2. Exfoliate – there are so many benefits to exfoliating. Better product absorption, improvement in tone and texture, and allowing new skin cells to be renewed are just a few benefits. Mild exfoliants should be used weekly and deeper exfoliants (stronger acids, chemical peels) should be done monthly.
  3. Vitamins – I can’t stress enough how important it is to take care of the inside of your body. Acne and rosacea can be symptoms of something going on internally. Vitamin C, Vitamin D, and B Vitamins will not only help you internally, but they will give you glowing skin! I think more often than not we treat our bodies like garbage, throwing it foods and drinks that are not beneficial to us. Treat your body good and your skin will follow. Now is the time to set up your skin for success!

The 20s are the age you need to take preventive measures for your skin. Take good care of your body + skin so the future you can continue to glow as good as it did in its 20’s.

Wishing you beautiful skin always,

Ash
