Small Self Care Tips that Can Make a Huge Positive Impact

I can come up with a million reasons why I’m too busy or too tired to do anything for myself. Trust me, I get it. I know we are all engulfed in the craziness of everyday life, but you DESERVE to take care of yourself to! You are important too!

Here are some self-care tips I have incorporated into my life that have made all the difference. small copy.png

  • Workout

    • Working out releases your happy endorphins! You always feel just a little more accomplished if you get a 30-minute workout in during your busy days.
  • It’s OK to take a break

    • Naps are good to freshen up your mind. There is nothing wrong with letting your body rest. You’ve worked so hard for everyone else, its ok to give yourself 30 minutes.
  • Try to eat right

    • You will feel better about yourself knowing that you made healthy choices for yourself. You deserve to feel good! I don’t “diet”. I just try to stay dairy & gluten free for the most part.
  • Be positive

    • Notice the way you use words. If you find yourself talking in negation saying things like
      • “I am so stupid” or “I am too scared”
      • “I’m going to be late” or “this is going to be awful”
      • using any other negation words like “can’t”
    • the Universe doesn’t recognize words in negation, only positive, so in turn, think positively. Be kind to yourself. If you wouldn’t say it to a friend, don’t say it to yourself. THINK HAPPINESS AND CHOOSE IT. You have the mind power to think your happiest life into existence. Use that power, you’ve earned it!
  • When you win, celebrate.

    • You’ve worked hard, you deserve to celebrate your victories. No matter how small the win is. Take time for a Netflix binge, put that skincare mask on, take a bubble bath, or have a meal with your favorite people. just do something that makes YOU happy.

 

Self-care has been a huge part of finding myself, my happiness, and has helped me help others around me more. You absolutely deserve to take care of yourself. I really believe you will find that there is so much power in loving yourself. Be good to yourself and your body.

    1. It is! It’s so hard when we want to help everybody and we’re so tired… Just got to remember that we are important to! and we definitely deserve to be happy! 🙂

    2. Such a beautiful post! I think all of these should be implemented in daily life and practicing positivity and mindfulness is great self care.
